COMPLAINANTS' EVIDENCE GUIDE · UPDATED 28 SEPTEMBER 2026
Unable to meet Yu Energy’s proposed upfront payment, the household offered £450 a month across both accounts. Yu did not agree a plan on that basis. After consulting a senior, its representative instead proposed a write-off on both accounts if the household switched supplier. The switch completed, a court claim was discontinued, and six months later a debt collector demanded £2,953.65.
